A van for the Street Girls

Daniel Mugoda Awali opened a home for young ‘street girls’ in Uganda in 2013, and has successfully rescued over 100 girls from prostitution and abuse over the past ten years. Daniel has been unable to travel to the USA to raise any funds, so he and the girls live on a very tight budget. During 2024 they had no transportation and no electricity for several months.

Faith of a Child provided a downpayment for Daniel to be able to buy a van in September 2024. This will be critical in helping the girls to get vocational training and their first jobs.

The shiny "new" van!  (in Uganda, "new" means a 6-year old van from Japan)
